How to install League of Legends on Debian 10 Buster

Today we are looking at how to install League of Legends on Debian 10, Buster.  This can look like a daunting task, but we hope that this video tutorial and all the commands neatly put together helps you!

As you can see this tutorial exists out of three parts.  The first two parts are both in the terminal.  In the first part, we install Wine and in the second part, we install Lutris and configure our system for Lutris (the very last command).  Then we close our terminal and go to the League of Legends Lutris page and install Lutris from there.  Enjoy!

Commands Used:
Install Wine
1) su
2) dpkg --add-architecture i386
3) wget -nc
4) apt-key add winehq.key
5) nano /etc/apt/sources.list
deb buster main
deb ./
6) apt-key adv --keyserver --recv-keys DFA175A75104960E
7) apt update
8) apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable

Commands are based on this:

Install Lutris
9) echo "deb ./" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/lutris.list
10) wget -q -O- | sudo apt-key add -
11) apt update
12) apt install lutris
13) sudo bash -c 'echo "abi.vsyscall32 = 0" >> /etc/sysctl.conf && sysctl -p'
