How to install League of Legends on Linux Mint 20

Today we are looking at how to install League of Legends on Linux Mint 20 as a snap.  This snap has been around for at least 2 years and I think it is the best way, currently, to install League.

The first command will remove the preference which stops a person to install snap packages in Linux Mint 20.  The second command will install snap and the last command will install League of Legends.  Enjoy!

Commands Used:
1) sudo rm /etc/apt/preferences.d/nosnap.pref
2) sudo apt install snapd
3) sudo snap install leagueoflegends --edge --devmode
4) sudo snap refresh --candidate wine-platform-runtime
5) sudo snap refresh --candidate wine-platform-5-staging
