How to install Minecraft Dungeons on a Chromebook - Revised Tutorial

Today we are looking at how to install Minecraft Dungeons on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

If you have any questions, please contact us via a YouTube comment and we would be happy to assist you!

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

Update:  Since recording this video, Chrome OS 85 has been released, it is pretty much the same as Chrome OS 84, just to increase the Linux Apps size, a person needs to click on custom, and increase the size from there (please write to us in a YouTube comment if you need additional information).

Please take note that with the release of Chrome OS 89,  the location of Linux Apps has been changed in the Chromebook’s settings.  Have a look at this tutorial, to see how to turn on Linux apps and then continue with the installation tutorial.
