Since making this video, Chrome OS got matured and it is no longer needed to apply this setting, you can just go to your audio settings and adjust the volume. Thanks!
Today we are looking at how to adjust the volume/gain on your microphone on a Chromebook. We go to the URL, link below, and then we enable the highlighted section on the page, then we reboot our Chromebook. Enjoy!
