Today we are looking at how to add Minimize and Maximize buttons in Elementary OS 5.0. It is a pretty simple process, and you will have additional customizing features as well beside from minimizing and maximizing buttons like a dark theme, etc.
Please note, that a person has to run all three commands. The first command will install a package to enable you to apps PPAs to your system (a PPA is a software repository). In the next command we will add the PPA and at the end, we install the package which enables us to add minimize and maximize buttons. All three of the commands are needed.
sudo apt install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:philip.scott/elementary-tweaks
sudo apt install elementary-tweaks
