One of the main changes that happened when Ubuntu changed from Unity to Gnome was that the trash icon is no longer in the Left Panel but now it is on the Desktop as an icon. Today we are looking at how to add the trash icon back into the Ubuntu panel. Enjoy!
download script and move to documents

run commands in terminal
chmod +x ~/Documents/trash.sh
./Documents/trash.sh -e
