Today we are looking at how to install Inkscape Alpha 1 on Ubuntu 18.04. Inkscape was released 15 years ago so it is wonderful that we have an Alpha 1 release now. It is really easy to install it as a Snap as seen in the video. Snaps do not update with the rest of your updates currently, so you can update this snap and all your other snaps with a single command namely, snap refresh. Enjoy!

sudo snap install inkscape --edge
