How to Install Minecraft on Ubuntu 18.04

Today we are looking at how to install Minecraft of Ubuntu 18.04.  Since making this video, Minecraft made it easier to install it on Ubuntu by producing a native client, which is better than what the snap was, even though it was a huge improvement.  The reason why it is better is that it does not need Java anymore, the previous version did.

So, you can either follow the commands below.  I made a video on how to install the new version and you can look at it here: https://www.linuxmadesimple.info/2018/12/how-to-install-minecraft-on-ubuntu-1804.html

A person can also just download the package and install it via the Ubuntu Software Center.

Commands Used:
sudo apt install gdebi
