Dark Theme for Ubuntu 16.04 and other customizing tools


Today we are looking at how to enable a Dark Theme on Ubuntu 16.04.

In this video, we are looking at how to install the Arch GTK Dark theme on Ubuntu 16.04, as well as icon themes and also icon themes for LibreOffice, as the default icons can look bad with the dark theme, we also install the unity tweak tool to enable the themes.


Instructions:
Arch Dark Theme:
sudo sh -c "echo 'deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Horst3180/xUbuntu_16.04/ /' >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/arc-theme.list"

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install arc-theme

wget http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:Horst3180/xUbuntu_16.04/Release.key

sudo apt-key add - < Release.key

Icon themes:

Unity Tweak Tool:
sudo apt-get install unity-tweak-tool

Install LibreOffice icons themes:
sudo apt-get install libreoffice-style*
