In this video, we look at how to change the login picture in Ubuntu MATE 16.04. Please take note that this will only change the login screen background and not the lock screen.
As seen in the video, a person first download or choose the picture you would like to use as your login screen, then you go to your system settings and to your "LightDM GTK+ Greeter Settings" and then inside it, change the background image, save it, close the app and reboot your system. Enjoy!
