How to completely upgrade to Ubuntu 18.04.2

Today we are looking at how to completely upgrade to Ubuntu 18.04.2.  A person will get most of what Ubuntu 18.04.2 has to offer by just running the normal system updates, however, there are a few things which a person will not get via the normal updates and that is Linux Kernel 4.18 and other Hardware Acceleration Tools which is in Ubuntu 18.10 and now in Ubuntu 18.04 also!  Enjoy!

Ps.  After running the upgrade process, it can take a very long time, and reboot your system a person can run sudo apt autoremove and this will remove your old kernel which you no longer need.  I recommend that you might want to run sudo apt autoremove after a reboot to make sure everything works, before removing the old kernel as you can always fall back to your old kernel if anything goes bad, but it shouldn't. it works great on my system!

Commands Used:
sudo apt-get install --install-recommends linux-generic-hwe-18.04 xserver-xorg-hwe-18.04

sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade

reboot your system
