How to install Flatpak and Apps on Ubuntu 16.04


Today we are looking at how to install Flatpak on Ubuntu and also enable the flathub repository on your system.  After running the commands below, as seen in the video, a person needs to reboot the computer.  Then you can go to the software center, link below and install the application you want and go to the end of the app page and copy/paste the installation link into a terminal and install it!  Enjoy!

Commands Used:
sudo apt install flatpak
sudo apt install gnome-software-plugin-flatpak

flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

Flathub Store:
https://flathub.org/apps
