Today we are looking at how to install Links 2 on Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04. In this blog, we will look at how to install it and also I will give you some of the main keyboard hotkeys for the Links browser. Enjoy!
As you can see in the video, it is easy to install a person just copy/paste a command into a terminal and just follow the instructions. Enjoy!
Command Used:
sudo apt-get install links2
Keyboard Hotkeys:
Display Menu ESC or F9 or F10
Quit Links Ctrl + c
Go to url g or G
Follow and Display current link Enter
Download link/file d or D
Go back and Stop Fetching Left_Arrow
Reload/Refresh current page Ctrl + R
Previous Link Up_Arrow
Next link Down_Arrow
Jump to "bottom of page" End or ctrl + E
Jump to "top of page" Home or ctrl + A
Jump to "next screen" Space_Bar or Page_Down or ctrl + F
Jump to "previous screen" b or Page_Up or ctrl + B
Scroll down Delete or ctrl + N
Scroll up Insert or Ctrl + P
Scroll right ]
