How to add fonts in Ubuntu 19.04

Today we are looking at how to add fonts in Ubuntu 19.04, this method should work in most Linux distros.

This will work with any font you would like to add, a person creates a .fonts folder in your home folder and place all the fonts inside that folder and just reboot your system and everything should work.

The . before the folder name means that it is a hidden folder, so to show all your hidden folders a person press ctrl and h together and after creating and adding all the fonts a person press ctrl and h again to hide all the hidden folders.  Enjoy!

Ps.  I got the font that I used in the example from https://fonts.google.com/.
