Today we are looking at how to install WPS Office 2019 on Ubuntu-based KDE systems, like Kubuntu and KDE Neon. As WPS Office is a GTK app and KDE is Qt-based, there have been several small issues in the past, which a person could fix by making small adjustments. Luckily that is no longer needed and that's worth celebrating. A person downloads the package install it with Discover and everything is ready to go!
Please keep in mind that WPS Office is free as in coffee for Linux users but not free as in word, so it is closed-source and when there is a new update available the app gives the user the option to update itself, so it is not receiving updates via the system updates. WPS Office has its own cloud service available which users can use to save their data and sync documents between devices.
