Today we are looking at a distro which I am sure which was dead but I am so happy that it is alive and well, as LXLE brings modern together with geeky like nearly no other Linux distro.

LXLE uses the LXDE the desktop environment, which received it's the last update on 22 November 2016 and it is great to see that LXLE is keeping it alive as it is a great and light desktop environment.  It uses between 300-600MB of ram so it is great for old machines and new, modern hardware if you want a geeky/modern desktop and nearly all your system resources for your system.

I thought this project was dead as Ubuntu 18.04 was released on April 2018 and we got a first testing release based on Ubuntu 18.04 in August 2019.  I am just glad it is here!

It also comes with Linux Kernel 4.15 and do keep in mind that this is the Beta release, so please report bugs!
