Today we are looking at SparkyLinux XFCE 5.9.  Iy comes with Debian Buster, Linux Kernel 4.19, XFCE 4.12 and uses about 400-500 MB of ram when idling.  They are doing a great job by combining stock XFCE and Debian together with the minimum amount of customization to give the users a solid, light and stable operating system.   Enjoy!
