Today we are looking at how to add Minimize and Maximize buttons in Elementary OS 5.1. It is a pretty straight-forward process, and you will have additional customizing features as well besides minimizing and maximizing buttons like a dark theme, etc.
Here is a quick run-through of the commands. The first command will install a package to enable you to apps PPAs to your system (a PPA is a software repository). In the next command, we will add the PPA and in the end, we install the package which enables us to add minimize and maximize buttons. All three of the commands are needed.
sudo apt install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:philip.scott/elementary-tweaks
sudo apt install elementary-tweaks
