How to install Shotwell Photo Manager on a Chromebook


Today we are looking at how to install Shotwell on a Chromebook  Shotwell is one of my favorite applications as it can manage your photos and perfect for simple photo editing.

Please take note that with the release of Chrome OS 90,  the location of Linux Apps has been changed in the Chromebook’s settings.  Have a look at this tutorial, to see how to turn on Linux apps and then continue with the installation tutorial.

Commands Used:
1) sudo apt update
2) sudo apt install shotwell
