How to install Godot 3, game engine, on a Chromebook

Today we are looking at how to install Godot 3, game engine, on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

We created a tutorial in the past, but a wonderful community member told us about this easier installation method.

In this tutorial, we firstly enable Linux Apps on our Chromebook, then we update the Linux Apps repositories, and we install Godot with the last command.  Enjoy!

Commands Used:
1) sudo apt update
2) sudo apt install godot3

Update:  In Chrome OS 83 Linux Apps has an option now, not seen in this video as it was recorded before Chrome OS 83, to choose a username for your Linux Apps,  it is completely optional and you can just press on the install option to continue, as seen in the video.  Please send us a comment on YouTube if you need assistance!
