How to install Mixcraft 9 on a Chromebook


Today we are looking at how to install Mixcraft 9 on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

As mentioned in the video, the launchers will not work and it does not help to modify them, so to launch the program you need to run the last command every time.

Please take note that this is not a cracked method, so you will still require a legal copy, but you can try the trial version to make sure that everything works!

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU and depending on your Chromebook's hardware it can be a bit laggy.

Commands Used:
1) sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
2) wget -nc https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/winehq.key
3) sudo apt-key add winehq.key
4) echo "deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/debian/ buster main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/wine.list

6) sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys DFA175A75104960E

8) sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable

10) wget http://download.acoustica.com/mixcraft9/rs/Mixcraft9-64-Installer.exe
