How to install IntelliJ Idea, community edition, on a Chromebook


Today we are looking at how to install IntelliJ Idea, community edition, on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

Commands Used:
1) jetbrains.tar.gz
2) tar -xf jetbrains.tar.gz
3) cd idea-IC-202.7660.26/bin
4) ./idea.sh

    it says no such file or directory ?? how can i fix this

  3. a problem i had when i followed the instructions above was that the information/name in the direction: cd idea-IC-202.7660.26/bin ----didn't match my folder name, so maybe go and see what your folder name (the nrs might be different)...and follow the above instructions but step 3 sub for your own folder name (nr). this might help
