If you want to test it out first, before modifying the menu launcher, you can run this command in a Linux terminal to launch Minecraft with this setting.
minecraft-launcher --disable-framerate-limit
Please take note that with the release of Chrome OS 89, the location of Linux Apps has been changed in the Chromebook’s settings. Have a look at this tutorial, to see how to turn on Linux apps and then continue with the installation tutorial.
