Toontown Rewritten was updated! Please have a look at our latest tutorial.
This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.
If you have any questions, please contact us via a YouTube comment and we would be happy to assist you!
Please take note that with the release of Chrome OS 90, the location of Linux Apps has been changed in the Chromebook’s settings. Have a look at this tutorial, to see how to turn on Linux apps and then continue with the installation tutorial.
We modified the 6th and the 9th command slightly, it still runs as seen in the video, but it installs an additional package which Toontown Rewritten requires to run. If you have any questions, please contact us via YouTube.
Commands Used:
1) sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/oldsources.list
