How to install the PokeMMO launcher on a Chromebook as an APK

Today we are looking at how to install the PokeMMO launcher on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

If you have any questions, please contact us via a YouTube comment and we would be happy to assist you!

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

Please take note that you need to own the ROMs, and they are copyrighted (so we can't provide it).  If you wonder if the launcer and games are for you, please search for reviews online and decide for yourself.

As mentioned in the tutorial, to install APKs on a Chromebook, we have to enable the feature, created by Google, but there is a red notice that you might run insecure software (aka APKs) on your login and lock screen which can only be removed with a factory reset.

Please take note that not all APKs works with this method but PokeMMO does.

Commands Used:
1) sudo apt update
2) sudo apt install android-tools-adb
3) adb connect 100.115.92.2:5555
4) adb start-server
5) adb kill-server
6) wget https://dl.pokemmo.eu/download/PokeMMO-Client.apk
7) adb install PokeMMO-Client.apk
