How to install OpenToonz on a Chromebook


Today we are looking at how to install OpenToonz on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

Sadly the audio functions don't work in the application.

Commands Used:
1) wget http://www.deb-multimedia.org/pool/main/d/deb-multimedia-keyring/deb-multimedia-keyring_2016.8.1_all.deb
2) sudo dpkg -i deb-multimedia-keyring_2016.8.1_all.deb
3) sudo echo "deb http://www.deb-multimedia.org stable main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/opentoonz.list
4) sudo apt update
5) sudo apt install opentoonz opentoonz-data
