How to install Synthesizer V Studio Basic with Voice Banks on a Chromebook


Today we are looking at how to install Synthesizer V Studio Basic with Voice Banks on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

If you want to add instruments as well, please run this additional command as well which will install a package which is required to add instruments.
sudo apt install zenity

1) wget https://resource.dreamtonics.com/download/English/Synthesizer%20V%20Studio%20Beta%20Version/1.11.2b2/svstudio-basic-linux64.zip
2) unzip svstudio-basic-linux64.zip
3) chmod 755 Synthesizer\ V\ Studio\ Basic/synthv-studio
4) ./Synthesizer\ V\ Studio\ Basic/synthv-studio


5) chmod 755 voicebank.svpk
6) ./Synthesizer\ V\ Studio\ Basic/synthv-studio ./voicebank.svpk
