How to add a Show Desktop Icon in Ubuntu 18.04

Today we look at how to add a show desktop icon in Ubuntu 18.04 and it is a rather easy process as shown in video, commands, and instructions below.

Commands and Instructions: 
sudo apt-get install xdotool
sudo gedit ~/.local/share/applications/show-desktop.desktop
add this info into the file we just opened

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Name=Show Desktop
Icon=desktop
Exec=xdotool key --clearmodifiers Super+d

save and close the file
