How to install KDE Plasma as a Snap on Ubuntu 18.04

Last week KDE and the power of Snap just blew my mind away.  They created a whole KDE Plasma 5.14.3 as a snap package which a person can run alongside other desktop environments in a sandbox environment.  Please take note that this is still in developer mode and it can only be used to test it out and play around.  Currently, a person can't install any packages beside from the few which is pre-installed and as it is sandboxed a person can't open other apps in your system, and other snap apps installed on your system can be seen in your menu but can't run yet.

So as you can see it is not perfect yet but a major step forward for snaps!

The first command is installing the Snap and the second is adding a file so that the KDE session will be visible in your login manager.

Commands Used:
snap install --edge --devmode plasma-desktop
wget https://metadata.neon.kde.org/snap/plasma-snap.desktop -O /usr/share/xsessions/plasma-snap.desktop
