How to create Screencasts in Ubuntu 18.04 with Simple Screen Recorder

Today we look at one of my favorite applications which I used to record all my videos with, as it is really powerful and reliable.  Reliability is a key for me with screen recorders and Simple Screen Recorder ads some other neat features, like adding a timestamp to each recording your record so you won't record over another recording and you do not have to change the name of location every time, which saves me a lot of time.

Simple Screen Recorder can also record audio alongside your screen, with your choice of audio input which is available.  It does not have to be the same as what your system is currently using.  These features are of Simple Screen Recorder makes it my favorite screencasting app.  Enjoy!

Alternatively, a person can also install it as a snap package.  I added the commands below.

Command Used:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:maarten-baert/simplescreenrecorder
sudo apt-get update
