How to install Older Versions of Firefox on Ubuntu 17.10

Today we are looking at how to install Older Versions of Firefox on Ubuntu.  I used Ubuntu 17.10 back then but it will work for Ubuntu 18.04 and 18.10 as well.

We will also look at, in the video, how to integrate this version of Firefox nicely into Ubuntu.  Enjoy!

Remember, as shown in the video, that a person needs to turn off the automatic updates in Firefox, to keep the older version, otherwise you will soon have the latest version again.

Instructions:
1) Download FireFox
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/

2) Extract Package

3) Move the installation a to place where all users on the system can access it
sudo mv package name /opt/

4) Add to the menu
sudo apt-get install alacarte

5) Turn of automatic updates
