How to install Stacer on Ubuntu 18.04 - a fantastic CCleaner alternative

Today we are looking at Stacer, a perfect system optimizer for Ubuntu and Linux.  In today's video, we are looking at how to install it and at its functions.  If you prefer a video with voice-narration look at the link below the video.  The method I used works on all Ubuntu based distros.  I added the update command in the commands, not needed for Ubuntu as it automatically updates itself after adding a PPA but for Linux Mint and others, it is required.

After the installation, we look at Stacer and its functions.  It can remove the unneeded cache, remove any package from your system, manage your start-up applications and much more!  Enjoy!

Please keep in mind that this is a powerful tool and it can break your system if you turn things off, which you don't know what they are doing!

After making this video, Linux Mint users informed me that the Stacer icon doesn't appear in the app menu so I made a specific video and blog for Linux Mint. Look here:

Commands Used:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oguzhaninan/stacer
