Today we are looking at the latest point release of Debian 9.  Debian 9.7 has been released less than a month ago but this release of Debian came with more than 180 bug fixes.  For current Debian users, you can just update your system and you will get the latest version.  I decided to celebrate this release of Debian 9 by looking at the MATE release as I heard that Martin Wimpress is currently doing some work with the MATE Debian release, so I thought it would be good to keep an eye on it.  Enjoy!
