How to install and remove Deb packages in Ubuntu 16.04 with a graphical interface


Today we are going to look at how to install and remove deb packages in Ubuntu.  There are 2 main ways to do, with a graphical interface and inside a terminal.  In this blog, we will look at how to install it with a graphical interface.  If you want to look at how to install it via a terminal, look here:

Instructions:

As seen in the video, it is very easy, a person right click on your installation package and choose to install it with your build in software center and just follow the installation wizard and you can also remove packages by going to your software center, look at your installed packages, find the app you want to remove and remove it.

If you have any struggles, you can find, in your software center, a package called Gdebi and install it, it is a simple but working app to install deb packages as well.  After installing it, a person right click on the app, choose with open with and choose Gdebi.  Enjoy!
