Today we are looking at how to install Krita 4.2 on Linux Mint 19.1. There are several official ways how to install Krita, as shown on their download page, but I choose to use the PPA method in all Ubuntu-based distros like Linux Mint as a person just add the PPA, install Krita and you will immediately have the latest version and Krita will be kept up to date via your system updates. PPA's are also open source as a person can see all the packages which it will install, etc by looking at its webpage, link below. Enjoy Krita!

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kritalime/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install krita
