Today we are looking at how to install Steam on Linux Mint 19.2. You can install Steam straight from the Mint software center, but if you encounter any problems we would like to give you an alternative option.
The Steam version which we will install is a Snap package created by the Solus OS team.
The first command will install snap package support on your system and then the next two commands will install Steam, as seen in the videos. After that we update Steam, in the end, you will most probably run into an error like I did, then a person simple open the Linux Steam Integration application and turn of native runtime and launch Steam again.
If Steam does not appear in your menu, reboot your computer. Enjoy Steam!
sudo apt install snapd
sudo snap install --edge solus-runtime-gaming
sudo snap install --devmode --edge linux-steam-integration
