How to install Minecraft on Ubuntu 19.10

Today we are looking at how to install Minecraft on Ubuntu 19.10.  Please take note that this is the official version, so it is not a cracked version.

We first download the deb package of Minecraft, a direct link is below.  Then we download a package called gdebi which is a fantastic graphical tool to install deb packages and as Minecraft depends on many dependencies which gdebi just install while installing the deb package it is a great tool to use and to have on your system.  Lastly, we install Minecraft with gdebi and that is it!  Enjoy!

sudo apt install gdebi

  1. after which i enter "sudo apt install gdebi" the terminal says :E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend. It is held by process 6364 (unattended-upgr) - open (11: Die Ressource ist zur Zeit nicht verf├╝gbar)
    N: Be aware that removing the lock file is not a solution and may break your system.
    E: Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), is another process using it?
    Wath sut i do ?
