Basic video editing with Kdenlive on a Chromebook tutorial in 2020

Today we are looking at how I normally edit a video for YouTube.  I decided to create this video, which is extremely long (even though I fastened it up a bit) because it takes me a long time to edit a video, but I receive plenty of requests for a video like this.

As I said, I normally don't edit my videos on my Chromebook,  I use a Linux computer for it, and my Chromebook for daily use and recording purpose.  I do plan, in the future to edit all my videos from a Chromebook though as I use exactly the same applications.

We hope you find it helpful, we know that this is more a visual guide and not so much an audio guide but we hope it helps!

Please take note that with the release of Chrome OS 90,  the location of Linux Apps has been changed in the Chromebook’s settings.  Have a look at this tutorial, to see how to turn on Linux apps and then continue with the installation tutorial.
