How to install Friday Night Funkin on a Chromebook


Today we are looking at how to install Friday Night Funkin on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

Commands Used:
1) sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/oldsources.list
2) sudo touch /etc/apt/sources.list
3) sudo echo deb https://deb.debian.org/debian bullseye main  | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
4) sudo apt update
5) sudo apt dist-upgrade
6) unzip funkin-linux-64bit.zip
7) chmod 755 Funkin
8) ./Funkin
9) sudo apt install menulibre
10) menulibre

  3. man,it helped and i put every command in there correct but when i tried executing it with ./Funkin it says cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

    2. try checking what version you have : 64 bit or 32 bit? you need 64 bit to run the file.

  6. Hello I got up to the point to where I can use ./Funkin but I keep getting a error message saying
    ./Funkin: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.29' not found (required by ./Funkin)
    Is there something I need to do or is it that my laptop can't run the game.

  7. When i input the commands, the terminal doesn't make a space for the next command, so I can only put in the first command and nothing else.

Hey, I made it to the point where i can input "./Funkin" but it gives me an error message saying "./Funkin: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.29' not found (required by ./Funkin) " I remember trying to copy and paste "sudo apt dist-upgrade" and it went fine until it said "Calculating upgrade... Error!
    Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
    requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
    distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
    or been moved out of Incoming.
    The following information may help to resolve the situation:

    The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    libc6-dev : Breaks: libgcc-8-dev (< 8.4.0-2~) but 8.3.0-6 is to be installed
    E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages. " So yeah, didn't really work well for me :/
