How to install Badlion on a Chromebook


Today we are looking at how to install Badlion on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

Please take note that you need the full account of Minecraft to use the application.

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

Please take note that with the release of Chrome OS 90,  the location of Linux Apps has been changed in the Chromebook’s settings.  Have a look at this tutorial, to see how to turn on Linux apps and then continue with the installation tutorial.

Commands Used:
1) wget https://client-updates-cdn77.badlion.net/BadlionClient
2) sudo apt update
3) sudo apt install libnss3
4) chmod 755 BadlionClient
5) ./BadlionClient --disable-framerate-limit
6) sudo apt install menulibre
7) menulibre
