This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

Minecraft must be installed on your Chromebook:
To access your .minecraft folder, go to your Linux files in your file manager, click on the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner, choose to show hidden files, some folders will appear, open the .var folder, inside of it open the .app folder, inside of it the com.mojang.Minecraft folder and inside of it you will find the .minecraft folder.
Commands Used:
1) chmod 755 optifine.jar

2) java -jar optifine.jar
3) /home/username/.var/app/com.mojang.Minecraft/.minecraft
4) env MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=3.2 /usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=minecraft com.mojang.Minecraft
