How to install Kdenlive 18.12 on a Chromebook

Today we are looking at how to install Kdenlive 18.12 on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

If you have any questions, please contact us via a YouTube comment and we would be happy to assist you!

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

Also, I have this old tutorial where I show how I edit one of my videos with Kdenlive 18.12, with some tips and tricks.

Commands Used:
1) sudo apt update
2) sudo apt install libnss3 menulibre
3) wget -c https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/kdenlive-18.12.1b-x86_64.appimage
4) chmod 755 kdenlive-18.12.1b-x86_64.appimage
5) ./kdenlive-18.12.1b-x86_64.appimage
6) menulibre
