How to install Pokemon Revolution Online on a Chromebook


Today we are looking at how to install Pokemon Revolution Online on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

Depending on your Chromebook's hardware, it can lag a lot.

Commands Used:
1) sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
2) wget -nc https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/winehq.key && sudo apt-key add winehq.key
3) echo "deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/debian/ bookworm main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/wine_chrome_os_made_simple.list
4) sudo apt update
5) sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable winbind
6) winecfg
7) wget https://ddl.pokemonrevolution.net/PROClient_64.zip
8) unzip PROClient_64.zip
9) wine PROClient/PROClient.exe --disable-framerate-limit
