How to install The Mixed Island on a Chromebook


Today we are looking at how to install The Mixed Island on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

Command Used:
1) sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
2) sudo apt update
3) sudo apt install lib32z1 libc6-i386 lib32stdc++6 libxxf86vm1:i386 libxrandr2:i386 libglu1-mesa:i386 libgl1-mesa-glx:i386 libopenal1:i386 kmenuedit
4) unzip tmi-linux-4.3.3.zip
5) chmod 755 TMI-linux.x86_64
6) ./TMI-linux.x86_64
7) kmenuedit
